Throughout the ages, human beings have sought knowledge to guide their lives and to help them learn about the world around them. All psychological and spiritual traditions have shown that it is our perception that influences our experience of reality, and that our perception is formed in many ways by the knowledge we receive. Therefore, acquiring right knowledge becomes quintessential if we wish to live lives of truth, freedom, and happiness.

Over the last couple hundred years, humanity has come to a great understanding as to the laws which govern our physical universe. Through profound discoveries in science and technology, we have created a modern society which has offered tremendous opportunity for millions around the world.

Like the outer world, our inner lives are also governed by certain laws of the universe. An understanding of these laws enables us to live harmoniously with ourselves, others, and with the natural world. It is possible that we come to understand these laws and also how to apply them in our lives in a way that can truly create heaven on Earth. The great sages and saints of all time have taught and applied these laws and shared them with humanity for millennia.

The teachings of Oneness University, as offered by Sri Amma Bhagavan, address a wide-range of subjects, including childbirth, parenting, and relationships—all the way up to the most advanced teachings on Awakening, Self-Realization, and God-Realization. These teachings represent both the direct experience of Sri Amma Bhagavan as well as are in line with modern discoveries in science, and are scientific in temperament, appealing not only to the intuition of the seeker, but also to the rational intellect.

While Oneness does offer a full body of teachings on the nature of mind, Self, and the Divine, including a large number of processes and practices for embodying these teachings, Sri Amma Bhagavan emphatically state, “Any teaching, including those given by us, remain only a teaching until you have a direct experience of its underlying meaning, which is possible only through divine intervention.” Thus, the Oneness courses and processes, in addition to offering teachings to participants, focus on the phenomenon of Deeksha/ the Oneness Blessing, which facilitates the divine intervention necessary to bring the teachings, of Sri Amma Bhagavan or any spiritual teaching which has been received, into the direct and personal experience of the lives of participants.
